What we store
SET / BUDDY : LIVE stores your email address, your sign-in provider, your display name and avatar if provided, basic device details (browser, operating system, timezone, language), your cookie consent choices, and the content you create: set lists, songs, gigs and gig bag items.
Why we store it
Account data lets you sign in and keeps your content tied to you. Your content is stored on your device for offline use and mirrored to the cloud so it survives a lost phone and follows you between devices. Device details and consent records exist for security, support and legal proof of consent.
Exporting your data
Signed-in users can download a complete copy of their data at any time from Account Settings using "Download my data". The file is plain, machine-readable JSON.
How deletion works
Requesting deletion in Account Settings marks your account for removal and starts a 30-day recovery period. Nothing is erased during that time, so you can cancel and continue as before. After 30 days an automated daily job permanently deletes your login, your profile, your synced content, your activity records and your role assignments. Cookie consent records are kept without any link to you, as proof that consent was collected.
The 30-day recovery period
During the recovery period you will see a banner in the app with the exact deletion date and a "Cancel deletion" button. Data still stored on your own device is cleared the next time you sign in after permanent deletion.
